The Venue

The design of this beautifully constructed complex draws its inspiration from rural buildings of yesteryear.

At Oaklands our team understands that your event is to be an exceptional experience and the flexibility of our venue offers exactly the degree of formality you desire. You may opt for an informal garden wedding or an extravagantly staged event, an intimate party through to a gathering for 240 guests.

Our facilities offer a warm and inviting country feel with all the necessary modern comforts and details. Oaklands offers you variable configurations to accommodate your gathering.

Our Main Hall with tiered seating area can cater for up to 150 guests in restaurant style whilst still allowing room for dancing. With our operable walls open we can cater for up to 240 guests. Our facilities offer you the flexibility of large stand up cocktail style events or more intimate seated functions whilst still leaving ample room for your guests to mingle and enjoy the occasion.

Our smaller Lounge/Dining indoor foyer can cater for smaller intimate sit-down functions of up to 40 people. This room is also perfect for a more casual function or small party.

Both rooms have access to our wonderful dry stone open fireplace which will add a wonderful ambience to your function – summer or winter.

The Event Centre Gardens are perfect for canapés & drinks pre-reception & will cater for a casual or formal garden/cocktail wedding for around 60 people.
